During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jason Momoa and Amber Heard talked about the filming of an awkward scene that had to be deleted from Aquaman in which Arthur Curry hauls Mera through the water.
Despite the fact that their characters are actually at home in the sea, the equivalent can’t be said for the actors who play them.
Directed by James Wan, the new Warner Bros.and, DC motion picture will rejoin fans with Arthur Curry (Momoa) after his official debut in Zack Snyder‘s Justice League (following his small appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice).
IIn the movie, Aquaman tries to ascend to the throne, taking into account that his half-brother Orm (Patrick Wilson) stands in his way. Fortunately, he has Mera (Heard) to enable him to battle his way to the position of royalty. Be that as it may, in the background, Momoa and Heard weren’t exactly as comfortable in water as they are in the motion picture.
Talking with EW to promote Aquaman, Momoa and Heard discussed the scene in which their characters are intended to easily enter the surface world from underwater.
The scene includes Arthur hauling Mera out of the water, which ended up being troublesome for the actors while shooting. Despite the fact that Momoa had the capacity to achieve it, Heard battled – because of the solid waves and couldn’t manage to stay still. Naturally, the scene had to be cut from the film.
