Kit Harington wrapped up production on “Game of Thrones” prior this year, and he has no plans to ever come back to the job of Jon Snow later on. Kit talked with the BBC to advance his new London play “True West,” and when asked about repeating his most notable role he in a split second shot down the question.
“Would I need to return and accomplish more? Not on your life,” Harington said. “If, like me, you go all the way back to the pilot of ‘Game of Thrones,’ that’s almost 10 years of your life. That’s really unusual in an actor’s career. It was a huge, emotional upheaval leaving that family.”
Harington has no enthusiasm for showing up in a cameo of Jon Snow or one of his ancestor factor into the up and coming “Game of Thrones” spinoff, which is currently in pre-production stage.
“What if [Harington] were asked to film a single scene, maybe as an ancestor of Jon Snow?” the BBC interview reads. “His answer remains an unequivocal no.”
Since featuring on “Game of Thrones” since April 2011, Harington has proceeded to have jobs in movies, for example, “Pompeii,” “Testament of Youth,” and Xavier Dolan’s “The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.” Regardless of his film work, “Game of Thrones” and Jon Snow will perpetually remain Harington’s most famed job. Snow has risen as one of “Thrones’” most important players and the last season is relied upon to be substantial on the character’s origins.
